Vice President, VCA – Super Regionals (Payments Consulting)

Location: US - New York, NY; at least 3 days in the office required. Travel required 5–10% of the time.

Salary: $260,000–$455,000 USD per year, with potential bonus, equity, and sales incentive payments.

What you will do

• Lead the North America consulting team serving Super Regionals, issuers, BIN Sponsors, and large FinTech partners.
• Sell and deliver strategic, tactical, and data-driven advisory engagements covering market expansion, revenue growth, segmentation, portfolio management, authorization optimization, digital products, and profitability.
• Own the segment P&L, including revenue projections, risks, team and vendor expenses, margin performance, and pipeline development.
• Build strategic growth opportunities, consulting offerings, distribution channels, and recurring revenue streams.
• Collaborate with account executives, marketing, implementation services, data scientists, subject matter experts, and global regional teams.
• Represent advisory capabilities with senior client executives and hirify.global leadership while developing trusted strategic relationships.

Requirements

• 12+ years of work experience with a bachelor’s degree, 10+ years with an advanced degree, or 8+ years with a PhD.
• Deep experience in payments, technology consulting, portfolio management, and strategic problem solving.
• Demonstrated success selling consulting engagements and managing consulting project P&L responsibilities.
• Strong data analysis, analytical, communication, presentation, executive storytelling, negotiation, and influencing skills.
• Experience leading, mentoring, coaching, and retaining high-performing multidisciplinary teams.
• Understanding of data science and machine learning tools for solving complex client issues.

Nice to have

• 15+ years of progressively responsible experience in management consulting and/or payments.
• Payments and systems integration consulting experience.
• Evidence of talent development in high-performing teams.
