Event Marketing Manager

Location: 100% remote within Canada; based out of Calgary and/or Vancouver. Current work authorization for Canada is required. Occasional travel is required approximately 30% of the time.

Salary: CAD 88,000–111,000 total annual cash compensation, including base salary and target bonus.

What you will do

• Plan and deliver in-person, digital, and hybrid event experiences that deepen client relationships.
• Project manage event setup, invitations, registration, on-site technology, ticketing, client relationship management, and post-event activities.
• Manage event budgets, vendor relationships, pricing negotiations, expense reporting, attendance tracking, and ROI analysis.
• Create workback schedules, agendas, action plans, testing plans, and contingency plans for event programs.
• Coordinate internal partners, senior executives, portfolio managers, subject matter experts, clients, speakers, and vendors.
• Administer event technology platforms and improve digital workflows, customer journeys, and event processes.

Requirements

• 3+ years of corporate event management experience; financial services experience is preferred.
• College degree or equivalent work experience.
• Required experience with Cvent for event registration, communications, and reporting.
• Strong organization, project management, planning, budgeting, vendor management, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of digital event experiences and virtual event platforms, including Cvent and Zoom Events.
• Experience with CRM and productivity tools including Adobe Marketo, Salesforce, and Microsoft Office.

Nice to have

• French/English bilingualism, written and verbal.
