Electronics Production Assembler I, II, or III (Quantum Computing)

Location: Burnaby, Canada

Salary: CAD 44,000–60,000 per year for Level I; CAD 51,000–69,000 per year for Level II; CAD 57,000–78,000 per year for Level III.

What you will do

• Assemble electro-mechanical and cable assemblies, electrical components, connectors, wiring, and harnesses.
• Perform manual SMT soldering, fine-pitch component work, and PCB rework under magnification.
• Read engineering drawings, schematics, BOMs, assembly instructions, and manufacturing documentation.
• Inspect and test assemblies against quality and product specifications.
• Document production records, work orders, inventory, and technical issues.
• Troubleshoot assembly problems and support improvements to methods, tooling, techniques, and documentation.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent education and experience.
• Experience in electronics, electro-mechanical assembly, manufacturing, or a related environment.
• Ability to use hand tools, soldering equipment, microscopes, and basic test equipment.
• Ability to read and follow technical documentation and BOMs.
• Strong manual dexterity, attention to detail, problem-solving, reliability, and collaboration.
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods, lift up to 30 lbs or more, and support peak production, lab, field, production, or shop activities.

Nice to have

• Fine-pitch SMT soldering and PCB rework experience.
• Experience working under a microscope or with electronics test equipment.
• Experience in a startup, R&D, or low-volume, high-complexity production environment.
