Systems Engineer Staff (System Architecture)

Location: King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, United States; part-time remote telework combined with work at a designated hirify.global facility. US citizenship and a government security clearance are required.

What you will do

• Support software modernization for the Tactical Tomahawk Weapons Control System within the Enterprise Mission C2 organization.
• Participate across the software development lifecycle, including system design, description, development, and testing.
• Perform trade studies and technical comparisons of modernization technologies and communicate results to leadership.
• Generate systems engineering artifacts, including requirements and models.
• Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, product owners, AI specialists, security, finance, technical leads, and program managers.
• Help develop and execute the TTWCS modernization roadmap.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of systems engineering experience on software development programs.
• Knowledge of the engineering lifecycle and requirements decomposition.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to work independently with minimal direction.
• US citizenship and eligibility for a Secret security clearance.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of microservices design, CI/CD, and DevOps tooling.
• Model-Based Systems Engineering experience with Cameo.
• Prior TTWCS operator or engineering experience.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles.
• Experience integrating new technologies into legacy systems.
