Technical Lead (Cybersecurity)

Location: Ft George G Meade, MD, with flexibility and travel to the National Capital Region and San Antonio; must be a U.S. citizen

Salary: $122,000–$253,000 per year

What you will do

• Define and maintain the architecture for the unified AMS/FIPE platform.
• Establish technical direction, engineering standards, and development best practices.
• Lead system design documentation and architectural artifacts.
• Guide microservices architecture, containerization, and integration with Kubernetes and service mesh platforms.
• Oversee DevSecOps pipeline implementation and review technical design decisions.
• Mentor developers, participate in technical exchange meetings, and conduct code reviews.

Requirements

• At least 14 years of software development and architecture experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience developing enterprise-grade distributed systems using microservices and containerization with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in multiple programming languages, such as Python, Java, or Go, plus knowledge of cloud-native and multi-cloud environments.
• Experience with workflow orchestration engines, automation platforms, UML 2.x, and architecture documentation standards.
• At least 5 years of offensive cyber operations or related mission-area experience, an active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph, and U.S. citizenship.
