Diffusion Equipment Engineer (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Own maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, productivity, utilization, and availability of manufacturing equipment and processes.
• Identify and reduce recurring machine faults, defects, scrap, and operating costs.
• Source and install new equipment, define maintenance procedures, and develop equipment specifications.
• Analyze equipment performance data and create action plans to resolve recurring failures.
• Train technicians and peers and present complex equipment problems, solutions, and datasets.
• Support capacity planning, development activities, Six-Sigma statistical process control, and cross-functional lean teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
• At least five years of equipment engineering experience in high-volume semiconductor manufacturing.
• Competence in equipment troubleshooting, logical fault isolation, repair, and performance analysis.
• Working knowledge of associated furnace pumps and abatement systems.
• Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills, with the ability to train others and collaborate with manufacturing and process engineering.
• Ability to manage multiple issues, shifting priorities, and independent work.

Nice to have

• Experience with SVG VTR7000, AVP8000, TEL Alpha 8S, TEL Alpha 8SE Waves furnaces, or Lumonics Laser Scribe.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing methods.
