Field Chief Technology Officer (Cybersecurity)

Location: Remote within the United States or Canada; GTM onboarding takes place in Toronto, with travel of up to 50% and occasional in-person customer engagements.

Salary: $228,000–$342,000 USD annual base for US-based roles; commission-eligible. Canada-based roles offer $228,000–$342,000 CAD annual base.

What you will do

• Advise CIOs, CISOs, CTOs, chief architects, developers, and security leaders on complex identity, access, and security challenges.
• Provide technical leadership throughout strategic enterprise sales cycles, including architecture reviews, competitive evaluations, executive briefings, and customer workshops.
• Create repeatable technical plays, executive messaging, reference architectures, and engagement frameworks for the global Solutions Engineering organization.
• Mentor senior Solutions Engineers and develop enablement programs for emerging technologies and customer challenges.
• Bring customer feedback and market insights to Product and Engineering leadership to influence roadmap priorities and early adoption programs.
• Represent hirify.global through conferences, advisory boards, analyst briefings, webinars, whitepapers, and executive forums.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in enterprise technology, cybersecurity, consulting, solutions engineering, enterprise architecture, or technical leadership.
• Demonstrated success influencing executive technology leaders in Fortune 500 organizations.
• Deep expertise in identity, access management, privileged access, cloud security, developer platforms, SaaS security, or AI security.
• Exceptional executive communication skills and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business outcomes.
• Experience influencing enterprise architecture decisions, supporting strategic enterprise sales, and working with executive sales teams.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.
