Senior Software Engineer (Cloud Security)

Salary: $200,000–$287,500 per year

What you will do

• Design and implement core components of the Data Movement Policy framework for multi-cloud and hybrid environments.
• Build Data Exfiltration Protection capabilities, including ingress and egress controls and anomaly detection.
• Unify Context-Aware Access policies with egress perimeter controls in a cohesive policy engine.
• Write and review design documents focused on reliability, low latency, and auditability.
• Partner with Product Management and engineering peers to turn product requirements into engineering deliverables.
• Own feature delivery from design through production deployment and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with exposure to infrastructure or security systems.
• Strong knowledge of network security fundamentals, including TLS/SSL, HTTP/S, DNS, Zero Trust, or DLP concepts.
• Experience designing and building distributed systems in Java, Go, or C++.
• Experience with cloud-native security controls in AWS, GCP, or Azure, such as VPC Service Controls or Private Link.
• Ability to work independently on complex technical problems and collaborate with cross-functional partners.
• BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with content-aware or identity-driven data governance systems.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development workflows and tooling.
• Experience with egress control, network perimeter enforcement, or policy engine design.
• Open-source security contributions or published security research.
