Engineering Leader (Cybersecurity)

Location: US, remote; occasional business travel of up to 10% may be required.

Base salary: $260,000–$280,000 per year, plus equity for full-time employees.

What you will do

• Lead and grow the MSP/MSSP engineering team responsible for multi-tenant platform capabilities.
• Define platform strategy for parent and sub-client relationships, tenant allocation, partner administration, client dashboards, co-branding, and white-labeling.
• Establish architecture for account hierarchies, delegated administration, tenant isolation, entitlements, and licensing flows.
• Drive engineering quality through design reviews, code reviews, RFCs, and blameless retrospectives.
• Partner with Product, Customer Success, Partnerships, Sales, Finance, and Engineering leadership.
• Recruit, onboard, mentor, develop, and retain software engineers while balancing roadmap delivery with partner support.

Requirements

• Experience leading engineering teams that build and operate multi-tenant SaaS platforms at scale.
• Strong technical knowledge of multi-tenancy, account hierarchies, tenant isolation, delegated administration, and parent/sub-client models.
• Experience with MSP, MSSP, OEM, white-label, reseller, or co-branded partner platforms.
• Knowledge of AWS, GCP, or Azure, with experience in identity and access management, RBAC, authorization, and enterprise account structures; AWS is preferred.
• Ability to engage in technical discussions and code reviews involving Python or Go.
• Demonstrated ability to hire, develop, and retain high-performing engineers in remote or distributed environments.

• Background in cybersecurity or security platforms.
• Experience with third-party risk management or compliance-related capabilities.
• Familiarity with licensing, entitlements, subscription management, or billing integrations.
