Security Engineer (AI)

Location: Remote - USA

Salary: $95,000–$110,000 base salary per year plus a discretionary bonus

What you will do

• Advance the information security program across corporate systems, cloud environments, networks, and endpoints.
• Implement, configure, maintain, and optimize enterprise security technologies.
• Partner with technology, engineering, and business stakeholders to integrate security controls and support secure product and service delivery.
• Monitor, investigate, and respond to security events, alerts, and incidents.
• Maintain a comprehensive digital asset inventory and support automation of asset management.
• Communicate cybersecurity risks and recommendations to leadership and support secure cloud adoption.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity administration, engineering, or security operations.
• Hands-on experience with EDR/XDR, DLP, identity and access management, vulnerability management, cloud security, and attack surface management.
• Experience with security platforms such as Microsoft Defender XDR, Google SecOps, ReliaQuest GreyMatter, Netskope, or Box Shield.
• Experience with PowerShell, security operations automation, vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, and security monitoring.
• Strong understanding of networking, operating systems, enterprise infrastructure, cloud computing, and Azure and AWS security services.
• Familiarity with NIST CSF, CIS Controls, ISO 27001, and security considerations for AI and LLM solutions.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• CISSP, CCSP, Microsoft Azure Security Engineer (AZ-500), or AWS Certified Security – Specialty certification.
