Identity and Endpoint Security Engineer

Location: Remote within North America or Europe

Salary: $175,000–$220,000 per year, plus equity

What you will do

• Administer identity providers, SSO, MFA, phishing-resistant authentication, access policies, provisioning, and offboarding.
• Build periodic access reviews and enforce least privilege across critical systems.
• Manage MDM and EDR coverage, device provisioning, configuration standards, and security baselines.
• Respond to identity and endpoint incidents by investigating, containing, documenting, and escalating issues.
• Assess vendor, SaaS, and AI integration risks and provide practical security guidance.
• Automate repetitive security and IT workflows and help maintain scalable security policies.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience operating an enterprise identity platform with SSO, MFA, and access policies.
• Experience managing MDM and EDR tools across a device fleet.
• Experience responding to security incidents, compromises, or suspected breaches.
• Ability to assess vendor and integration risks, including risks introduced by AI tools.
• Scripting ability in Python or Bash for automation and basic tooling.
• Strong written communication, independent judgment, and the ability to explain recommendations clearly.

Nice to have

• Experience with blockchain or Web3 threats, cloud security, SIEM and detection engineering, or AI agents used in security operations.
