Chief Information Security Officer (AI Security)

Location: Remote across North America; positions are also available in the San Francisco office.

What you will do

• Set the company-wide security strategy, roadmap, priorities, ownership, and measurable outcomes.
• Lead security risk management across identities, endpoints, SaaS applications, cloud infrastructure, company data, software supply chains, and third-party vendors.
• Partner with Engineering and Product on threat modeling, secure design reviews, vulnerability management, secrets and dependency management, logging, monitoring, and remediation.
• Build incident response, detection, escalation, investigation, containment, communications, tabletop exercises, and business continuity improvements.
• Lead SOC 2, ISO 27001, FedRAMP, customer diligence, audits, penetration tests, and security commitments in contracts.
• Advise executives and the board on risk, readiness, incidents, and investment priorities, while representing Ent in strategic customer security conversations.

Requirements

• Experience operating as a CISO, Deputy CISO, Head of Security, or in an equivalent role at a high-growth technology company.
• Deep technical understanding of cloud, identity, endpoint, application, product, and infrastructure security.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP; Google Workspace or Microsoft Entra ID; and macOS and Windows device management.
• Strong knowledge of incident response, vulnerability management, security monitoring, third-party risk, data protection, and secure software development.
• Experience building security assurance or compliance programs such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, or FedRAMP and supporting enterprise or government customer diligence.
• Current understanding of risks from AI systems, generative AI, autonomous agents, sensitive data flows, and rapidly changing development tools.
