Salary: $115,000 - $120,000

What you will do

• Lead site visits to discover energy savings opportunities in commercial and industrial sites and present actionable measures.
• Calculate and report energy/demand savings and GHG emission reductions consistent with the California SEM M&V Guide.
• Apply deep knowledge of HVAC systems and Building Automation Systems (BAS) to identify efficiency opportunities.
• Develop energy savings calculation methodologies and apply IPMVP options for measurement and verification.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to qualify custom projects and defend program savings.
• Maintain client satisfaction and develop new professional relationships.

Requirements

• BS in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical preferred).
• 6-8 years of experience in energy efficiency consulting or program implementation.
• Must be based in the Bay Area or Los Angeles, CA.
• Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship (no sponsorship available).
• Field experience in independently conducting energy audits and verification inspections.
• Proficiency in MS Office; experience with SQL or Power BI is a plus.

Nice to have

• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Measurement and verification certification.
• BAS and/or RCx experience.
• Industry knowledge of Strategic Energy Management.
