Staff Solutions Architect, Growth - West (Distributed Systems)

Location: United States — remote; must reside within the Western Time Zone. San Francisco and Denver are preferred.

Compensation: $250,000–$300,000 total annual compensation, including base salary and variable compensation with a 70/30 split. Equity plan participation is also available.

What you will do

• Evaluate prospects’ and customers’ applications for fit with hirify.global’s platform.
• Explain the technical benefits and limitations of hirify.global and its cloud service.
• Position hirify.global against competing technologies and architectural patterns.
• Drive adoption and expansion of hirify.global in customer production environments.
• Partner with Account Executives on account plans, opportunity scoping, and sizing.
• Manage technical relationships with customer decision-makers and advise them on architecture.

Requirements

• Residence in the United States Western Time Zone is required.
• Exceptional technical communication skills, including presenting, whiteboarding, and technical writing.
• Deep knowledge of distributed systems, design principles, and best practices.
• Experience building application prototypes and providing design, development, build, and deployment guidance using Java, Golang, TypeScript, Python, C#, or PHP.
• Strong understanding of production concerns including security, reliability, performance, cost management, and operations.
• Experience with at least one major cloud provider and common application development and production services.
