Senior Field Safety Manager (Energy Infrastructure)

Location: San Antonio, Texas, with onsite support required at the Abilene, Texas microgrid project

What you will do

• Lead onsite health, safety, and environmental activities throughout construction, commissioning, and long-term operations.
• Coordinate safety efforts with contractors, site managers, project management, and third-party vendors.
• Review construction safety plans, Job Hazard Analyses, and contractor safety programs.
• Conduct site inspections, audits, safety briefings, toolbox talks, emergency drills, and incident reporting.
• Lead root cause analyses and develop corrective and preventive actions.
• Develop operational safety programs, train personnel, analyze safety metrics, and support industrial hygiene activities.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in HSSEQ management systems or an equivalent field.
• Experience with construction and operational safety, preferably in industrial, energy infrastructure, or data center environments.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1926 and 1910 standards.
• Proficiency in root cause analysis, corrective and preventive action planning, safety reporting, and data analysis.
• Bachelor of Science in Safety, Environmental Science, or a related technical field.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, willingness to work flexible field schedules, and ability to work in extreme weather, at heights, and while wearing required PPE.

Nice to have

• Professional certification such as Certified Safety Professional or Construction Health and Safety Technician.
• Experience with noise monitoring, ergonomics assessments, and exposure testing.
