Field Safety Specialist

What you will do

• Train employees on EHS policies, safe work practices, and protection against chemical and physical agents.
• Conduct daily safety audits, pre-job risk assessments, and compliance reviews.
• Develop and update safety procedures and implement safety improvement programs.
• Investigate EHS incidents, assign corrective actions, and address employee safety concerns.
• Develop industrial hygiene monitoring programs, perform exposure evaluations and sampling, and implement exposure controls.
• Support process safety management, emergency response, ERT activities, and site security procedures.

Requirements

• Experience implementing EHS policies in an industrial setting.
• Preferred bachelor's degree in a safety-related field.
• Safety-sensitive role requiring onsite work at the Verdigris Complex.
• Ability to conduct safety audits, incident investigations, exposure evaluations, and employee training.

Nice to have

• Certifications such as CSP, CIH, or EMT.
