What you will do

  • Author, implement, and maintain site-specific Project Safety Plans and operational frameworks.
  • Conduct daily jobsite safety inspections and enforce subcontractor compliance via corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with project managers and superintendents to isolate high-risk variables and engineer safety solutions.
  • Ensure absolute compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including NFPA, NESC, ASTM, and ANSI.
  • Lead root-cause analysis investigations for incidents and near-misses to deploy corrective action scripts.
  • Mentor field staff, facilitate safety orientations, and lead weekly toolbox talks and safety committees.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of hands-on construction safety experience in large-scale industrial, civil, or utility environments.
  • Valid OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification.
  • Active CPR/First Aid certification.
  • Valid state-issued driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • High School Diploma or GED.

Nice to have

  • BCSP credentials such as CHST, ASP, or CSP.
  • Bachelor's degree in EHS, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • CPR/First Aid Trainer designation.
