Senior Software Developer (Fullstack)

Location: Ontario, Canada; hybrid work with approximately one day per week in the Toronto office

Salary: CAD 107,000–157,300 per year base salary for Canada-based roles; offers may exceed this range based on experience and geographic location.

What you will do

• Develop scalable, secure, stable, and maintainable software for customer-facing products and solutions.
• Build and maintain unit tests and participate in automation and regression testing.
• Design, document, and present software specifications, code changes, and new features.
• Participate in code reviews, investigate customer and QA defects, and improve product performance against defined metrics.
• Collaborate with customers, business stakeholders, Product Owners, and Product Managers to refine requirements and deliver product upgrades.
• Promote agile practices, mentor less experienced engineers, and provide guidance on development processes and product architecture.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of full-stack software development experience.
• Experience with Python, JavaScript, React, Angular, RESTful APIs, and GraphQL APIs.
• Experience with databases such as MySQL and DynamoDB.
• Working knowledge of AWS technologies, including S3 and EMR.
• Working knowledge of big data technologies such as Kinesis, Kafka, and Snowflake, plus strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and collaboration skills.
