Senior Full Stack Engineer (AI Platform & Agents)

Location: US or Canada; remote or hybrid. Candidates near a hirify.global office work onsite 2 days per week. The team also supports remote work in the EU. Required availability includes 9–11 AM CST overlap.

Salary: $99,600–$174,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Design and implement full-stack applications, AI agents, and reusable GenAI platform components.
• Build developer tooling, CI/CD workflows, observability, evaluations, canary releases, rollbacks, and cost and quality telemetry.
• Apply secure SDLC, threat modeling, least-privilege access, and privacy-by-design practices.
• Use RAG, retrieval, routing, tool use, and evaluation patterns to deliver reliable AI systems and measurable customer outcomes.
• Collaborate with product, UX, and domain experts on customer-focused solutions.
• Lead by example through high-quality, maintainable code and end-to-end ownership from concept to production.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong full-stack development skills and experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Expertise in at least one of AI agent development and evaluation, backend or frontend development, cloud services, CI/CD and infrastructure as code, SRE, quality engineering, or secure SDLC.
• Experience delivering secure, reliable, cloud-native systems to production.
• Excellent problem-solving, ownership, and cross-functional communication skills.
• Ability to maintain 9–11 AM CST working-hours overlap; onsite attendance may be required for hybrid work and parts of the interview process.

Nice to have

• Experience taking AI agents from concept to production, including safety evaluations, A/B testing, and continuous improvement.
• Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, MCP, vector and RAG systems, or OpenSearch.
• Knowledge of traditional ML training, deployment, and monitoring.
• Understanding of LLM failure modes, fine-tuning, and model adaptation.
• Familiarity with SOC 2, HIPAA, or similar regulatory frameworks.
