Appian Technical Delivery Manager (Appian)

Location: Maxwell AFB, Alabama, USA; remote work is available, with occasional work at a Booz Allen or customer facility possible.

Salary: $112,900–$257,000 annualized USD

What you will do

• Manage Appian development projects from design through production.
• Guide Agile development teams and oversee low-code/no-code solution engineering.
• Translate client IT needs and future goals into architectural patterns, design standards, and implementation practices.
• Develop user-friendly applications and optimize workflows through automation.
• Support cloud modernization, reduce system maintenance costs, and improve digital environments.
• Mentor or supervise employees in a collaborative team environment.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience designing, developing, modifying, and implementing software applications using Agile methods.
• 8+ years of experience with Appian low-code/no-code platforms and application development.
• 3+ years of experience managing Appian projects from design to production and leading Agile development teams.
• Experience with programming languages, technologies, web development stacks, client requirements, workflow automation, and automated testing tools.
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance; selected applicants may undergo a security investigation.
• Bachelor’s degree or 10+ years of software engineering experience in lieu of a degree.

Nice to have

• Experience with Java, Python, JavaScript, or SQL.
• Experience with Agile methodology, extreme programming, software engineering, product management, or software products.
• Existing Secret clearance.
• Master’s degree.
