Senior Professional Services Engineer (Temporal)

Location: United States - Remote Opportunity

Base salary: $160,000–$200,000 annually, with an 85/15 base-salary and variable compensation split. Eligible for participation in the equity plan.

What you will do

• Deliver production-ready hirify.global implementations by co-building workflows with customer and partner engineering teams.
• Implement and teach production-safe patterns covering retries, timeouts, heartbeats, determinism, and versioning.
• Help customers deploy and operate hirify.global Server in cloud and self-hosted environments.
• Define worker deployment, scaling, upgrade, failure-handling, and capacity-planning guardrails.
• Establish observability standards through workflow, worker, and hirify.global Server metrics, alerts, and dashboards.
• Create reusable runbooks, templates, documentation, workshops, and training while owning complex technical delivery issues end-to-end.

Requirements

• Experience delivering and operating production systems where reliability and incident response are important.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, failure modes, scaling tradeoffs, and operational safety.
• Hands-on coding ability in at least one major language such as Go, Java, Python, or TypeScript.
• Experience deploying and operating production services in cloud or self-hosted environments.
• Ability to design and communicate on-call standards, runbooks, and capacity-planning practices.
• Strong debugging, customer communication, teaching, and enablement skills in complex delivery situations.

Nice to have

• Experience with workflow orchestration, distributed task processing, or durable execution systems.
• Experience building observability programs, reference architectures, reusable templates, or enablement programs.
• Partnership experience with product and engineering teams or services delivery models at scale.
