Transportation Manager (Automotive Logistics)

What you will do

• Lead, supervise, train, and develop the logistics team, including drivers, dispatchers, administrative clerks, and supervisors.
• Coordinate daily drive-away and sublet transportation services for vehicles moving to and from customers and Vehicle Logistics Centers.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, timekeeping, carrier dispatching, compliance, claims, and delivery coverage.
• Act as the primary transportation contact for the local Vehicle Logistics Center and resolve customer concerns.
• Monitor KPIs and standardized reports to manage spending, forecast performance, and control market costs.
• Ensure safe, efficient, profitable vehicle movement, SLA compliance, safety-program execution, and effective change management.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in logistics or dispatching.
• 3–5 years of supervisory experience.
• Strong interpersonal, leadership, communication, organizational, time-management, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to remain calm and diplomatic during dispute resolution.
• Tech-savvy with experience using Google Suite or similar Google applications.
• Autonomous, proactive, self-driven, and able to work effectively as part of a team.

Nice to have

• Related post-secondary education.
• CRM experience, preferably Salesforce or Five9.
• Software support or automotive knowledge.
• Bilingual English and French skills.
