Transportation Manager (Logistics)

What you will do

• Oversee daily transportation operations, route planning, and performance monitoring.
• Build and maintain relationships with transportation carriers and third-party logistics providers.
• Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, company policies, and safety standards.
• Manage site budgets and identify opportunities to reduce transportation costs.
• Lead, mentor, and manage drivers and logistics personnel.
• Analyze transportation data and KPIs while collaborating with warehouse, customer service, and operations teams to improve efficiency and service levels.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 years of transportation or carrier management experience.
• Strong knowledge of transportation logistics, DOT compliance, and fleet management.
• Proven leadership and team development skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Active Class A CDL is preferred.
