Transportation Manager (Logistics)

What you will do

• Oversee daily transportation operations, including route planning and performance monitoring.
• Build and maintain relationships with transportation carriers and third-party logistics providers.
• Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, company policies, and safety standards.
• Manage site budgets, identify cost-saving opportunities, and improve service levels, delays, and operational efficiency.
• Lead, mentor, and manage drivers and logistics personnel.
• Analyze transportation data and KPIs and collaborate with warehouse, customer service, and operations teams on continuous improvement.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of experience in transportation or carrier management.
• Strong knowledge of transportation logistics, DOT compliance, and fleet management.
• Proven leadership and team development skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
