Electrical Designer/Engineer (Revit/AutoCAD)

Location: On-site in Moore, Oklahoma, USA; travel up to 10%.

What you will do

• Develop electrical distribution system designs and documentation using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Design lighting, power distribution, emergency power supply, and fire alarm systems for educational, healthcare, indigenous, municipal, retail, and commercial facilities.
• Perform electrical load calculations and select and size equipment.
• Assist with editing electrical system specifications and review equipment submittals for compliance with contract documents.
• Survey existing buildings and identify electrical systems and components.
• Observe and report on electrical construction work in progress and interact with project team members and leaders.

Requirements

• Required: Associate degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related field.
• Required: 3–5 years of experience designing electrical systems for various types of facilities.
• Design experience with commercial, municipal, and institutional projects.
• Hands-on experience with current versions of AutoCAD and Revit, MS Office, Outlook, and engineering calculation and performance simulation software.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-discipline team environment and prioritize tasks amid shifting projects and deadlines.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to collaborate with colleagues and clients.
• Ability to grow and adapt as the team expands.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Professional Engineer registration in Oklahoma, or the ability to obtain it.
• Confident and positive attitude with colleagues and clients.
