Electrical BIM Designer (Revit)

Location: Remote within the United States; conditions list Swiftwater, Pennsylvania 18370

Salary: $74,900–$85,000 per year

What you will do

• Set up and manage electrical Revit BIM models in coordination with discipline BIM leads and project team members.
• Create fully coordinated 3D models and 2D construction drawings using Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
• Develop electrical design documentation for data center projects, including power, cable routing, and lighting systems.
• Coordinate with designers, architects, engineers, and electrical project leads to produce clash-free, constructable deliverables.
• Estimate design and modeling hours from markups and verbal direction requests.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of electrical Revit design experience.
• At least 3 years of relevant electrical systems design and construction industry experience.
• Understanding of electrical codes, standards, design specifications, wiring and cabling connections, and one-line diagrams.
• Experience following client design and modeling standards; familiarity with Bluebeam or similar markup software.
• Effective written and verbal communication, organization, multitasking, and willingness to learn.

Nice to have

• Understanding of data center environments.
• Knowledge and design experience with power, cable routing, and lighting systems.
