Senior Analyst, Compensation & Analytics (SaaS)

What you will do

• Build and maintain compensation analytics models covering quota attainment, incentive payouts, plan effectiveness, and ARR performance.
• Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, risks, performance drivers, and business opportunities.
• Lead quarterly and ad hoc compensation plan analyses, including anomaly detection and program improvement recommendations.
• Support compensation plan design through OTE economics, affordability analyses, sensitivity modeling, and quota framework development.
• Develop scalable reporting solutions with Power BI, Excel, Snowflake, Salesforce, Captivate IQ, and HRIS data sources.
• Partner with Sales Leadership, Finance, HR, and GTM Operations on compensation planning, governance, documentation, and executive decision-making.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in sales compensation analytics, FP&A, sales operations, revenue operations, or strategic analytics.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Power Query and Power Pivot.
• Experience developing Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Working knowledge of SQL and experience analyzing compensation, quota attainment, or incentive performance data.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills for executive and senior leadership audiences.

Nice to have

• Experience with ARR-based compensation plans and recurring revenue business models.
• Experience with Snowflake, Salesforce, Captivate IQ, HRIS, or similar incentive compensation platforms.
• Proficiency with Python or other analytics and automation tools.
• Experience with annual compensation planning, quota setting, financial forecasting, governance, compliance, and audit controls.
• Experience using AI-powered productivity and analytics tools such as Microsoft Copilot or Claude.
