Lab Technician (Thermal Interface Materials)

Salary: $60,300–$62,400 per year

What you will do

• Perform mechanical, electrical, and thermal property testing of thermal interface materials and coatings.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and support the standardization and administration of test methods.
• Conduct standard laboratory testing for new product introductions and customer sample testing.
• Evaluate, collect, record, summarize, and report experimental data in laboratory notebooks and presentations.
• Compile data, charts, and tables in Excel for Application Engineers and other internal colleagues.
• Ensure laboratory and application equipment is calibrated and safety checked in accordance with local regulations.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of demonstrated laboratory experience.
• Associate or bachelor's degree in a technical field.
• Ability to understand and follow experimental protocols for data preservation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work safely with toxic chemicals while following laboratory protocols.
• Ability to stand and work in the laboratory for most of the day.
