Lead Product Software Engineer - Cloud Ops (Azure)

Salary: $116,400–$204,100 USD per year, plus bonus eligibility

What you will do

• Own Terraform delivery for Azure environments and maintain secure, repeatable, compliant infrastructure-as-code modules.
• Design and implement Azure architectures using App Services, Functions, Cosmos DB, Azure AI Services, Key Vault, networking, and related PaaS services.
• Build product and operational health dashboards with Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics, and KQL.
• Define SLIs, SLOs, alerting strategies, incident response patterns, and operational improvements.
• Provide cloud operations guidance, reusable templates, CI/CD patterns, and deployment runbooks for developers.
• Coordinate cloud infrastructure decisions between InnovateHub, Infrastructure Operations, Architecture, and Tax and Accounting teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building and operating cloud infrastructure, with strong Azure experience.
• 2+ years of production experience with Terraform or equivalent infrastructure-as-code tools.
• Strong proficiency with Azure PaaS services, Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics, and KQL.
• Experience with CI/CD automation using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• 3+ years leading infrastructure or platform engineering initiatives from design through production operation.
• Experience with infrastructure security, managed identities, RBAC, secrets management, compliance controls, SLIs/SLOs, alerting, and Azure FinOps principles.

Nice to have

• Microsoft Azure AZ-104 or AZ-305 certification; AI-102 certification is also a plus.
• Experience with Azure Landing Zones, hub-and-spoke networks, or enterprise-scale Azure architectures.
• Background in regulated financial services or tax and accounting software.
• Experience with Docker, AKS, service mesh patterns, model serving, vector databases, RAG infrastructure, platform engineering, or internal developer platforms.
