Lead DevSecOps Engineer, Cloud (Azure), Hybrid Schedule

Location: Berlin, Connecticut, United States; hybrid schedule with at least three days per week in the office, including Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Must be able to work up to five days in the office when required and travel between Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New Hampshire as necessary.

Salary: $153,400–$170,440 annually, plus potential incentive.

What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain Azure application landing zones using Terraform.
• Build and evolve an Internal Developer Platform with Harness, Backstage, and reusable self-service patterns.
• Engineer CI/CD pipelines with Harness, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and GitHub Actions.
• Implement GitOps and container orchestration across Azure Kubernetes Service, OpenShift, and Docker.
• Lead monitoring, observability, reliability engineering, incident response, and root-cause analysis.
• Mentor engineers, guide platform roadmap decisions, and coordinate development, operations, and security teams.

Requirements

• 8–10 years of experience in technical engineering or related technology and application solutions roles.
• Strong Microsoft Azure, hybrid cloud architecture, DevSecOps, CI/CD, GitHub, and branching strategy experience.
• Experience with Terraform, Ansible, JFrog Artifactory, Docker, and scalable infrastructure deployments.
• Knowledge of cloud cost models and hands-on experience with Harness Cost Management and Turbonomic.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Splunk, AppDynamics, Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor, or ELK Stack, plus Bash, PowerShell, and Python scripting.
• No immigration-related visa sponsorship is available; applicants must already have United States work authorization. A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience, is required.

• Advanced degree.
• Experience with Microsoft .NET Core.
• Experience designing Internal Developer Platforms or developer self-service portals such as Harness IDP, Backstage, or Port.
