MMT Mechanical Maintenance Tech (Automotive Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite in Fort Wayne, Indiana, United States

Salary: Up to $39.25 per hour

What you will do

• Install new equipment and troubleshoot CNC, hydraulic, automated, and PLC-controlled production systems.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair mechanical production equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance and complete assigned work orders in Emaint.
• Read hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical prints.
• Fabricate machine guards, work platforms, and other manufacturing equipment.
• Thread, crimp, and install piping for steam, gas, water, air, and liquid systems.

Requirements

• Valid journeyperson card or 8 years of practical trade-related experience.
• Experience with machining operations such as turning, milling, or hobbing.
• Ability to work with grinding, heat treat, assembly, and precision measuring operations.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including standing, walking, climbing, lifting, and repetitive movements.
• Ability to follow safety policies and work independently with minimal supervision.

Nice to have

• Expertise in machine repair and hydraulics.
• Arc or MIG welding experience.
