Middleware & Kubernetes Administrator (Kubernetes/Docker): Administering and optimizing middleware platforms and containerized environments in high-availability settings with an accent on platform stability, automation, security, and cloud operations. Focus on operating mission-critical business applications, automating deployments, resolving production incidents, and maintaining Linux and Kubernetes infrastructure.
Location: Medellin, Colombia. Hybrid work model

What you will do
- Administer and optimize middleware platforms including WebLogic, JBoss, Apache, and ActiveMQ.
- Manage Docker and Kubernetes environments, maintaining service availability and stability.
- Automate operational processes and deployment activities.
- Support production incident and issue resolution.
- Apply security, monitoring, patching, vulnerability remediation, and documentation practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience administering middleware and container platforms.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, WebLogic, JBoss, Apache, and/or ActiveMQ.
- Linux administration experience, preferably with Red Hat.
- Scripting, process automation, CI/CD, and automated deployment experience.
- Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or similar cloud environments.
