Data Engineer (Remote)

Location: Nationwide remote within the United States; Morgantown, West Virginia is listed as the job location. U.S. citizenship is required, and candidates must have lived in the U.S. for three full years out of the last five years.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end migration of legacy data to cloud platforms, including Salesforce-centric mapping, transformation, loading, and validation.
• Convert document-heavy and unstructured records into structured, analytics-ready data using Document AI.
• Implement cleansing, deduplication, reconciliation, data ingestion, lineage, metadata management, and traceability processes.
• Design, build, and maintain MuleSoft integrations and APIs for real-time and batch data exchange.
• Apply DataWeave transformation logic and troubleshoot integration and data-flow issues across systems.
• Support Salesforce Data 360 implementation, system cutover, testing, documentation, audit readiness, and data compliance.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
• Three full years of residence in the United States during the last five years.
• 6+ years of experience in data engineering, data migration, or data integration.
• Experience executing large-scale legacy system transformations and migrations.
• 2+ years of hands-on Salesforce data migration experience, including data modeling, Data Loader or API-based loading, and relational datasets.
• 2+ years of experience implementing data quality, validation, and reconciliation processes.

Nice to have

• Current or recent Public Trust or active Secret clearance and experience with DHS or other federal agencies.
• Experience with Informatica, SQL, relational data modeling, and cloud-based SaaS platforms.
• Experience developing MuleSoft integrations with Anypoint Platform, DataWeave, and API-led connectivity.
• Experience with Salesforce Data 360, Document AI, structured and unstructured data, metadata, lineage, and audit frameworks.
• Experience in federal or regulated environments and Agile delivery teams; familiarity with DocuSign eSignature and CLM products.
