Director of Engineering (SaaS)

Location: Must be based in Salt Lake City or the Mountain Time Zone, with a requirement to work in a hybrid model and spend time in the Draper, Utah office.

Salary: $150,000 – $175,000 per year.

What you will do

• Lead engineering teams focused on new product development, platform reliability, and technical debt reduction.
• Deliver the product roadmap on schedule while improving development processes and throughput.
• Shape the technical vision, AI strategy, and architecture roadmap for the Laundry SaaS business unit.
• Manage engineering budgets, headcount planning, and cloud cost optimization.
• Coach engineering managers and senior engineers to build a high-performing, customer-centric culture.
• Partner with Product and Security leaders to ensure platform investments align with commercial targets.

Requirements

• Must be legally authorized to work in the USA; no visa sponsorship available.
• 5+ years of experience leading engineering teams at a B2B SaaS company.
• Proven track record of scaling SaaS architecture and running end-to-end development, QA, and DevOps functions.
• Experience implementing AI-assisted software development practices and leveraging Generative AI.
• Strong strategic thinker with experience managing outsourced or vendor partners.
• Ability to work in a hybrid model and commute to the Draper, Utah office.
