TL;DR
Analog Circuit Design Engineer (Analog/Mixed-Signal Circuits): Designing and optimizing analog and mixed-signal circuits for Intel Data Center and AI products with an accent on high-performance, low-power designs, circuit analysis, and post-silicon validation. Focus on developing transmitters, receivers, amplifiers, filters, clocking systems, and voltage regulators while solving stability, power, performance, area, timing, and yield challenges.

Location: Hybrid role based at an hirify.global site in the United States, with primary locations in Hillsboro, Oregon, and additional locations in Folsom and Santa Clara, California.

Annual salary: $122,440–$232,190 USD

What you will do

  • Design and develop complex analog and mixed-signal circuits, including transmitters, receivers, amplifiers, filters, clocking systems, and on-die voltage regulators.
  • Analyze circuit tradeoffs and optimize power, performance, area, timing, and yield.
  • Create and validate behavioral models for analog and mixed-signal IPs used in system-level integration.
  • Develop and oversee floorplans and layouts, ensuring design-rule compliance and robustness.
  • Perform small-signal analysis, stability testing, and feedback-loop compensation.
  • Collaborate with architecture, layout, and validation teams; prepare specifications, test plans, documentation, and post-silicon debug.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering with 3+ years of experience, or a relevant master’s degree with 2+ years of experience, or a PhD.
  • Experience with VLSI analog circuit design, small-signal analysis, and foundational digital design concepts.
  • Experience using Synopsys and Cadence design tools and flows.
  • Experience optimizing designs for performance, power, and area.
  • Ability to collaborate across architecture, layout, and validation teams and contribute to design reviews.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid model at an assigned hirify.global site in the United States.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of high-speed I/O signaling, transmission-line theory, and power delivery.
  • Familiarity with PLLs, ADCs, DACs, switched-capacitor circuits, and noise analysis.
  • Experience with scripting, Matlab, laboratory tools, and post-silicon characterization.
  • Knowledge of analog integration, RTL, static timing analysis, and power-grid design.
  • Experience with VS Code, Python, and GitHub Copilot.
