Senior Staff Analog Design Engineer (AI)

Location: Hybrid, onsite at the Santa Clara headquarters 3–5 days per week; United States

Salary: $175,000–$265,000 annual base compensation, plus equity and bonus opportunities

What you will do

• Design analog-mixed signal integrated circuits using Cadence, Synopsys, and related circuit design tools.
• Develop in-memory-compute engines for AI inference accelerators and high-speed die-to-die interfaces for scale-out.
• Create schematics, system-level performance analyses, simulation test benches, and verification models.
• Optimize designs and layouts in 4 nm and smaller process nodes for low-power performance across process-voltage-temperature corners and six-sigma Monte Carlo yield analysis.
• Collaborate with layout and backend engineers on integration, including extraction and back-annotated verification.
• Support evaluation board design, silicon bring-up, bench debugging, characterization, and test scripting.

Requirements

• BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering; 14+ years of experience with a BS, 12+ with an MS, or 10+ with a PhD.
• Professional experience designing high-speed circuit blocks such as phase interpolators, clocking circuits, and PLLs.
• Experience with schematic capture, SPICE simulations, Monte Carlo simulations, circuit layout, extraction, and back-annotated simulations.
• Experience with channel modeling using MATLAB or comparable tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work across functional and geographically distributed teams and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
