Staff Analog Design Engineer (AI)

Location: Hybrid, onsite at the Santa Clara, California headquarters 3 days per week

Salary: $155,000–$250,000 annual base compensation for IC4 roles, plus equity and bonus opportunities.

What you will do

• Design analog-mixed-signal integrated circuits for in-memory-compute AI accelerators and die-to-die serial interfaces.
• Create schematics, system-level performance analyses, simulation test benches, and verification models.
• Optimize circuits and layouts for low-power performance across process-voltage-temperature corners and six-sigma Monte Carlo yield analysis.
• Guide layout engineers working with 7nm-and-below deep-submicron process nodes and make minor layout changes when needed.
• Collaborate with backend engineers on design and layout integration.
• Participate in testboard design, silicon bring-up, bench debugging, characterization, and scripting for test features.

Requirements

• BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 7+ years of relevant professional experience in high-speed circuit design, including phase interpolators, clocking, or PLL designs.
• Experience with schematic capture, SPICE simulations, Monte Carlo simulations, circuit layout, extraction, and back-annotated simulations.
• Experience with channel modeling using MATLAB or comparable tools.
• Strong analysis, problem-solving, communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional and cross-site teams and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
