Salary: $126,700 - $187,480 per annum

What you will do

• Work on architectural investigations and implementation of analog/mixed-signal circuits including PLL, DLL, ADC, regulators, amplifiers, TX, RX, CDRs.
• Perform design verification using tools like SPICE, Spectre, MATLAB.
• Interface with layout, verification, and application teams to deliver analog IP from concept to production.
• Address challenges in bandwidth, capacity, power for long-haul, metro, and datacenter transceivers.
• Contribute to shaping the technical culture of the new San Diego design organization.

Requirements

• MS in Electrical Engineering with 3+ years or PhD with 2+ years of related experience.
• Hands-on experience designing mixed-signal circuits: ADCs, DACs, RX, TX, PLLs, filters, bandgap bias, regulators.
• Strong knowledge of deep sub-micron CMOS technologies, low-power and high-speed design techniques.
• Proficiency in IC design CAD tools: Spectre, Spice, Matlab, Hsim, Verilog.
• Lab testing skills for prototype evaluation.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical skills, and ability to innovate on complex issues.
