Foundry Operation Principal Engineer (Semiconductors)

What you will do

• Coordinate wafer manufacturing activities across third-party foundries and ensure capacity coverage for short-term and long-term volumes.
• Drive delivery, throughput, yield, and quality performance, including corrective-action follow-up.
• Manage process changes, customer complaint holds, yield excursions, and root-cause analysis with foundry and business-line stakeholders.
• Define project timelines, resources, risks, and mitigation plans for external foundry programs.
• Coordinate new product transfers, process qualification, product introduction, process gate meetings, safe launch, and volume ramp-up.
• Lead quarterly foundry reviews, stakeholder reporting, relationship management, and support for cost and price discussions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, materials science, or electronics.
• At least 7 years of experience, preferably in a semiconductor fabrication environment, with process integration, device, or yield engineering experience.
• Professional proficiency in English and Chinese is required.
• Ability to work independently and manage cross-functional projects.
• Experience with semiconductor devices and processes, statistical process control, and statistical or quality tools.

Nice to have

• Six Sigma Green Belt certification or higher.
• Experience with KLA ACE XP, JMP, SPSS, or Minitab.
