Principal Facility Process Engineer (Semiconductors)

What you will do

• Design, analyze, and support the operation of chemical, process gas, and ultra-pure water systems.
• Develop process piping designs for the transmission of specialty gases and chemicals.
• Perform Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) on facility systems to ensure reliability.
• Prepare project specifications and estimates compliant with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Conduct root cause analysis for factory outages and lead emergency restoration efforts.
• Identify and implement projects for energy, water, and cost reduction.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of direct experience in facility process engineering.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel (knowledge of Visual Basic is a plus).
• Working knowledge of statistical analysis software.
• Must be based in Austin, Texas to support two local semiconductor factories.
• Ability to perform physical field measurements in hazardous areas, including confined space entry.

Nice to have

• EIT or PE certification.
