Senior Residential Account Specialist (Energy Efficiency)

Location: Louisiana Remote Office; Baton Rouge, Louisiana, United States of America. Local travel up to 30% is required for meetings, events, and QA/QC activities.

Salary: $73,738–$125,354 annually.

What you will do

• Support residential utility energy-efficiency programs serving customers in Louisiana.
• Review and approve projects submitted by participating trade allies and service providers.
• Perform field QA/QC to validate technical project data and ensure compliance with program requirements and process controls.
• Coach trade allies and internal support staff on best practices, audit resolutions, and technical topics.
• Support reporting, presentations, database management, and analysis using Microsoft Office and industry-specific tools.
• Build relationships with trade allies, nonprofits, subcontractors, and industry associations while representing program offerings at events.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent substitution of one year of related experience for one year of education.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in energy efficiency or a related field.
• Experience with project participation requirements, technical data validation, reporting, and stakeholder coordination.
• Valid driver’s license and successful completion of a Motor Vehicle Records check.
• Availability for local travel up to 30% of the time in Louisiana.

Nice to have

• Residential energy-efficiency experience and knowledge.
• Experience working with nonprofits or managing a trade ally/service provider network.
• Certified Energy Manager or BPI credentials.
• Spanish and English bilingual ability.
