Project Analyst, Cost, Transmission

Location: Westwood, Massachusetts, United States; hybrid schedule with at least three days per week in the office, including Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Must be able to work up to five days in the office when required and travel between Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New Hampshire as necessary. Emergency restoration assignments may require work outside normal responsibilities, hours, and location.

Salary: $95,050–$105,610 annually, commensurate with experience, with potential incentive eligibility.

What you will do

• Monitor, maintain, and report on project budgets, contracts, costs, and financial issues.
• Assist Project Managers with cost, cash-flow, and budget evaluations throughout the project life cycle.
• Prepare monthly forecasts using bids, scope changes, invoices, labor, contractors, materials, and equipment data.
• Produce cost-analysis and project-management reports for Project Managers, Engineering, and Plant Accounting.
• Evaluate the cost impact of scope and productivity changes and recommend corrective actions.
• Reconcile project costs and prepare un-vouchered liabilities for accurate financial reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, engineering, or a related area, or equivalent experience.
• At least three years of cost experience.
• Strong analytical skills for evaluating estimates, budgets, cash flows, plans, and schedules.
• Knowledge of cost and schedule specifications, contract administration techniques, contract types, and contract applicability.
• Ability to communicate and coordinate with management, project management, and support personnel and prepare clear reports.
