IT Business Analyst (Energy Efficiency)

Location: Georgia, United States; hybrid or remote, with the ability to travel to Atlanta, Georgia for remote work. Atlanta is preferred.

Salary: $61,232–$104,094 per year

What you will do

• Support requirements, design, testing, and delivery for energy efficiency tracking and reporting tools.
• Work with IT stakeholders to define system requirements and identify appropriate design approaches.
• Create requirements specifications, use cases, process flow diagrams, user interface designs, and other system documentation.
• Support User Acceptance Testing activities and track support requests through completion.
• Communicate task status, present updates, train users, and assist with troubleshooting.
• Understand client processes and identify technology-related improvements for utility-sector projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in science, mathematics, information technology, computer science, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or in a similar role, preferably in IT or software delivery.
• At least 1 year of experience gathering requirements and preparing use cases, process flow diagrams, user interface designs, and system documentation.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Visio, Teams, and PowerPoint.
• Must be able to pass a background check with drug screening.

Nice to have

• Exposure to utility, energy, or energy efficiency sectors.
• Experience with Jira, SharePoint, or Smartsheet.
• Consulting, customer service, verbal, written, and prioritization skills.
• Experience creating requirements and design specifications, use cases, test plans, test scripts, and supporting documentation.
