Location: Hybrid role based near an office in San Francisco, San Diego, Scottsdale, Houston, Denver, or Princeton, United States; regular office collaboration is expected. Occasional travel to company or project locations may be required. Non-immigrant visa sponsorship is not available.
Salary: $85,000–$110,000 USD annually, plus eligibility for an annual cash bonus.

Clean energy company developing and operating wind, solar, battery storage, and conventional power generation assets across the United States.
What you will do
- Support due diligence, project evaluations, contract reviews, and recommendations for acquisitions, divestitures, and investments.
- Develop revenue, expense, and capital expenditure assumptions for operating budgets and underwriting.
- Support plant optimization, project integration, performance improvement, and compliance procedures.
- Compile obligations from project and partnership agreements and help administer them across internal teams.
- Assist with commercial issue resolution, contract negotiations, amendments, and risk mitigation.
- Develop best practices, information-sharing platforms, and work management systems for commercial readiness.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Business, Economics, Project Management, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in financial analysis, project valuation, project management, asset management, compliance, contract administration, project finance, energy markets, or a related commercial role.
- Experience reading regulatory or legal documents and interpreting complex agreements and regulations.
- Strong analytical, organizational, project management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of accounting, finance, and valuation concepts, with advanced expertise in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to manage large structured and unstructured datasets and work effectively in cross-functional, matrixed teams.
Nice to have
- Experience in the power or renewable energy industry, including solar, wind, geothermal, or hydro.
- Experience managing external client relationships.
- Familiarity with energy markets, major industry participants, and regulatory bodies.
