What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Snowflake data pipelines and transformation workflows.
• Build and modernize ELT/ETL processes using SQL, Python, Snowpark, dbt, and Snowflake-native features.
• Implement Dynamic Tables, Streams, Tasks, stored procedures, orchestration, monitoring, recovery, and error-handling mechanisms.
• Optimize Snowflake performance and cost through query tuning, warehouse sizing, clustering, workload isolation, and auto-suspend policies.
• Design dimensional, relational, and domain-oriented data models with data-quality checks, testing, lineage, and documentation.
• Collaborate with architects, DevOps engineers, analysts, and client stakeholders on technical design, delivery, and code reviews.

Requirements

• 7+ years of data engineering experience with significant hands-on Snowflake expertise.
• Advanced SQL and strong Python development skills for data processing and pipeline automation.
• Hands-on experience with Snowpark, Dynamic Tables, Streams, Tasks, and production ELT/ETL pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of Snowflake performance and cost optimization, data modeling, incremental processing, orchestration, and dependency management.
• Experience with dbt or a comparable transformation framework and at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD, automated testing, troubleshooting, and direct collaboration with technical and business stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with Fivetran, Kafka, Airflow, Terraform, Snowflake Iceberg Tables, or lakehouse architectures.
• Exposure to Snowflake Cortex features, including Cortex Analyst, Cortex Search, or Cortex LLM functions.
• Experience with business continuity, disaster recovery, or SnowPro certification.
