DevOps Engineer - Architecture (AWS)

Location: 100% remote from the United States; candidates must already be authorized to work for any US employer without current or future visa sponsorship.

Salary: $120,000–$130,000 annually, plus a 5% bonus plan.

What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable, and cost-efficient AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Build CI/CD pipelines with Bitbucket and develop infrastructure as code using Terraform or Ansible.
• Manage Docker containers and Kubernetes-based microservices deployments.
• Optimize relational and NoSQL databases, including RDS, MongoDB, and Couchbase.
• Support VoIP and telephony infrastructure using Asterisk, Kamailio, RTPEngine, and SIP technologies.
• Maintain Kafka messaging, monitoring, alerting, documentation, incident response, and on-call support.

Requirements

• At least four years of experience in DevOps or a similar role managing cloud infrastructure, automation, and complex environments.
• Experience with AWS, Terraform, Ansible or Chef, Bitbucket or similar CI/CD tools, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, or similar scripting languages.
• Experience managing relational and NoSQL databases, including RDS, MongoDB, or Couchbase.
• Knowledge of VoIP, SIP, monitoring and observability platforms, Kafka, security practices, vulnerability management, and compliance frameworks.
• US work authorization without current or future visa sponsorship is required. Flexible working hours and participation in an on-call rotation are required.

Nice to have

• Experience maintaining highly available telecommunications infrastructure.
• Experience with Cisco VoIP environments and advanced MongoDB or Couchbase administration and optimization.
• A bachelor's degree in a related IT discipline.
