Product Engineer (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Provide engineering support across assigned product lines, including repair, assembly, testing, and product improvement activities.
• Generate and maintain repair and assembly work instructions, technical reports, documentation, and technical publication updates.
• Specify, implement, and validate product rework methods while supporting new product lines and repair introductions.
• Design and improve repair and assembly tooling, review test equipment, and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Coordinate engineering investigations, raise and monitor non-conformance reports, and improve First Pass Yield.
• Collaborate with Design Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Programs, Test Equipment, EHS, Supply Chain, customers, and suppliers.

Requirements

• Degree in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent experience in aerospace or another similarly complex industry.
• Strong understanding of hydraulic and mechanical actuation, including fault diagnosis and rework specification.
• Ability to identify producibility and quality improvements in assembly, testing, and product design.
• Ability to work from engineering drawings, CMM data, service bulletins, process specifications, and test procedures.
• Ability to make engineering judgments, prepare technical justifications, and coordinate activities across departments.
• Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance is required and must be maintained.

Nice to have

• Experience in aerospace maintenance or original equipment production environments.
• Experience coordinating with customers and suppliers on complex projects.
• Knowledge of root cause and corrective action, Lean principles, project planning, data acquisition, and analysis.
