Lead Auditor (Aerospace)

Location: Birmingham, United Kingdom, with homeworking when not visiting clients.

What you will do

• Conduct risk-focused audits of client management systems across aerospace and related sectors.
• Make certification decisions and deliver clear audit outcomes.
• Guide and develop other auditors through feedback and practical support.
• Build strategic client relationships and support continuous service improvement.
• Work toward Lead Auditor qualifications across multiple management system standards.
• Complete AAAT training and examination to become an Aerospace Authenticated Auditor listed on the APMG/IAQG database.

Requirements

• Substantial experience in the aviation, space, or defence industries, preferably in a management systems environment.
• Detailed understanding of the regulatory framework governing the relevant sectors.
• Ability to apply client relationship management principles effectively.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate audit outcomes clearly.
• Ability to work from Birmingham, United Kingdom and travel to client sites.
