Program Manager (IT Services)

Location: Huntsville, AL; on-site

What you will do

• Lead day-to-day contract management and administrative execution for Army/DoD information management services.
• Provide technical oversight, management guidance, resource coordination, and performance management across multidisciplinary teams.
• Coordinate priorities, staffing, schedules, dependencies, deliverables, and customer requirements with Government stakeholders, the Contracting Officer, and the COR.
• Manage customer-support staffing arrangements and oversee recruitment, retention, readiness, training, and certification compliance.
• Lead technical interchange meetings, program reviews, briefings, and status communications while escalating risks and recommending corrective actions.
• Maintain operational knowledge across infrastructure, networks, cybersecurity, application development, data management, acquisition, logistics, and emerging technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, business, engineering, program management, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
• Senior-level experience managing complex IT service delivery or Government support programs with multiple technical disciplines.
• Experience managing staffing, workforce readiness, schedules, risks, issues, corrective actions, quality, and contract performance.
• Knowledge of Government contract execution, including PWS requirements, CDRLs, performance surveillance, deliverables, and formal customer coordination.
• Working knowledge of infrastructure, networks, cybersecurity, application development, data management, and end-user support.
• Active TS/SCI clearance and ability to operate in an Army/DoD environment required.

Nice to have

• ITIL, Lean Six Sigma, or another service-management or continuous-improvement certification.
• Experience managing Army or DoD enterprise IT support contracts in the Huntsville or Redstone Arsenal environment.
• Experience with transition planning, key-personnel management, staffing and retention reporting, and CDRL-based program reporting.
