National Lending Intern (Summer, 2027)

What you will do

• Conduct industry research on macroeconomic trends and competitive environments.
• Support loan underwriting and due diligence processes.
• Populate internal systems with relevant information about lending opportunities.
• Assist with credit risk management and strategies to maintain strong asset quality.
• Manage day-to-day borrowing activity and perform financial analysis and projections for assigned loans.
• Participate in team meetings and complete portfolio, underwriting, and ad hoc analysis projects.

Requirements

• Current junior pursuing a bachelor's degree at a four-year accredited institution, with graduation status as a rising senior for Summer 2027.
• High school diploma.
• Strong financial statement analysis skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel; advanced Excel skills are ideal.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, problem-solving, time management, adaptability, and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
