Early Career Intern - Investments (Bank Loans)

Location: New York, New York; must be able to work in the New York office. The workplace model currently requires at least four full days per week in an hirify.global office.

hirify.global is a global investment management firm with a private credit platform focused on senior secured management and broadly syndicated bank loans.

What you will do

• Build knowledge of leveraged finance, CLO, and high-yield bond markets.
• Analyze investment opportunities and support investment decisions.
• Prepare credit proposals with company and industry analysis, capital structure analysis, cash flow projections, and creditworthiness assessments.
• Monitor existing transactions through financial analysis, cash flow modeling, industry reviews, and internal and external ratings assessments.
• Research industry trends, financial statements, and market data; prepare presentations and summaries for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, complete projects on schedule, and present findings to management.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program as a rising junior and graduating by summer 2027.
• Minimum GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale.
• Demonstrated interest in investments.
• Relevant academic backgrounds may include finance, accounting, mathematics, statistics, economics, computer science, engineering, data analytics, or business.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis.
• Employment-based immigration sponsorship, OPT, and CPT support are not available.

• Creative problem-solving and analytical thinking experience.
• Experience prioritizing work and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Investment management internship experience.
• Experience gathering and interpreting market data.
• Intermediate proficiency with Python, C++, Racket, Java, JavaScript, SQL, Power BI, Bloomberg Terminal, R Studio, or Excel.
